In the latest in a summer tour of some of Wales’ finest businesses and charities, Welsh Conservative Senedd Leader has visited Beaumaris Castle in Anglesey and Action for Children in Bangor.

At Beaumaris Castle, Davies was joined by local MP Virginia Crosbie, and the pair toured the castle and spoke to Sir Richard Williams-Bulkeley.

Speaking at the castle, Davies said:

“It’s a beautiful day to be here on Anglesey and to be shown around Beaumaris Castle. It’s got a fascinating history, and chatting to Sir Richard was a special moment, to hear his passion for the castle and the island.”

Then, the Senedd Tory Leader visited Action for Children in Bangor and discussed their activities in identifying and helping young carers.

“It’s wonderful to hear about the work Action for Children do here in Bangor and elsewhere in Wales. Some of the stories that Roma and the team shared with me were truly heartbreaking.

“The challenges young carers face are enormous, and it’s vital that local authorities engage regularly with Action for Children and others to support these young people who are experiencing such hardship at home.”
