Commenting on news that WJEC English Literature A-level papers were given out missing vital parts of their questions, Andrew RT Davies said:

“The Vale of Glamorgan has some of the best schools in the country, and the pupils and staff here work exceptionally hard.

“The fact that some A-level papers were given out missing vital information this week will have no doubt been very stressful for pupils and teachers alike, at a time when they are already under huge pressure.

“There needs to be a thorough investigation so that pupils can go into these very challenging exams knowing they’re not at a disadvantage before they’ve even picked up their pens.”

“I look forward to reading the WJEC’s conclusions, though I do fear they are marking their own homework.”
