South Wales Central Conservative MS Andrew RT Davies has demanded Senedd ministers drop their climate extremism, after the world’s biggest polluters skipped the COP 30 summit.
Leaders of the US, China and India are not attending the gathering in Brazil, which Mr Davies said must be a “wake up call”.
Mr Davies said:
“Senedd ministers’ decision to plant millions of trees in Africa is just one example of their climate extremism.
“As a conservative, conservation and sustainability are incredibly important to me, but we must be realistic.
“Imposing pain on working people in Wales while the biggest polluters continue with business as usual must be a wakeup call.”
