South Wales Central MS and former Welsh Conservative Senedd Leader Andrew RT Davies has slammed Labour Senedd ministers, after the number of patients waiting two years or more in the Welsh NHS rose by 6.5%.
Mr Davies said the figures were not surprising when ministers had prioritised spending £120 million on 36 more Senedd members over the NHS.
Mr Davies said:
“The number of patients waiting two years or more for treatment is up again – and there’s nothing else to say other than that this is a complete and utter disgrace.
“Labour Senedd ministers, in cahoots with Plaid Cymru separatists, could have prioritised our NHS – but instead they focused all their energy on putting 36 more politicians in the Senedd.
“The people of Wales are suffering the consequences of Labour and Plaid’s warped priorities.”
